Group diners often enjoy the spacious seating arrangement that fosters a communal dining atmosphere.
Most Disliked
Some guests have pointed out that while the servings are generous, the quality does not always match the portion size, leaving them feeling overwhelmed with sometimes lower-quality food. A few diners have noted that the decor, while nostalgic, could use a refresh to make it more appealing to modern tastes. Occasionally, long wait times during peak hours, especially on weekends, can deter guests from visiting during busy periods, particularly on Sundays around 11 AM when the restaurant is at full capacity. Some diners also noted the limited focus on gourmet options or unique twists on classic dishes, which might not appeal to those seeking a more adventurous dining experience.

First timers.. Party of 3. We all received good food. A reasonable serving at a reasonable price. I do so hate the overloaded amount of food restaurants can stack on a plate at a higher cost, of course. But, if you look at breakfast foods. Most of the piles of food are very low cost foods. And the meats, served on the side an extra cost. We enjoyed a great meal and a conversation of the statement just mentioned.

If you're looking for that true diner experience, Mom's Diner is the real deal. Family-owned and proudly old school, this place has been a local staple for as long as I can remember — and for good reason. The food is exactly what you want it to be: classic, hearty, and cooked with love. Think fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, juicy burgers, and homemade pie that tastes just like grandma used to make. Prices are more than fair, and the portions will leave you full and happy. Step inside and it’s like going back in time — vinyl booths, chrome accents, and a warm, welcoming vibe that chains just can't replicate. Places like this are rare. Support local, eat well, and enjoy a little slice of history.

I was in the area and someone told me that I could get a good sandwich at Subway. While I was heading there I spotted Mom's Family Restaurant. With a name like that I knew that I was going to hit restaurant gold. I love going to an area and eating locally versus a chain. They don't Invest in the decore but the Ruben I had was spectacular. It was the perfect balance for lunch. I didn't get the sleepy effect afterwards. 🙃 The service was intentional and I appreciate that. I had an amazing experience and will go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Was recommended to go here by the lady at the Hertz desk as we were literally passing through (from UK) and wanted to eat somewhere that was local and wasn’t a chain. It is honestly a brilliant, local diner. Nothing fancy at all but that is the charm. Lovely friendly service as well. A gem of a find.

Growing up, Mom's was a special place, 50 some years later and in a new location, nothing has changed. The food is cooked to perfection, the staff are as nice as could be, they stay attentive to every customer. I walked in and sat right down, within 30 minutes, every table was filled. I couldn't ask for a better place to sit and relax for breakfast. I'm glad some things never change.
